The Latin name of our Kennel - Aerislunam - translates to Copper Moon.

This symbolizes the copper (or red) and the pearly white colours of the Irish Red & White Setter.

We are located beside the Pacific Ocean in Halfmoon Bay on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of British Columbia.

We were both raised in families where dogs were a big part of our lives. In fact, when we met as teenagers in 1975, Teresa asked Doug "Do you like dogs?". With an affirmative answer, a second date was secured.

We have been happily married for over 40 years and throughout that time dogs have played an important role in our family.

​

We are now blessed to see our four wonderful children raising their children and their own dogs.

​

Irish Red & White Setters came into our lives when we were so fortunate to have Shireoak Autumn Wind, our Katie, join us in 2005.
